Surrogacy is a legal assisted reproduction procedure that can be used by a small number of couples. The main indication for surrogacy is a woman’s inability to conceive. This means that the woman has her own eggs but does not have a uterus or her uterus has a severe deformity. This procedure is covered in Greece by law 3089/2002.
